Sorting Office Car Park

Booked the space from 12 noon for 5hours. I arrived at 1pm, there was a padlock on the metal gate. I parked opposite the entrance and started looking through the confirmation email for the padlock code, but could not find it anywhere. The advert stated that the car park is open during the day. I was unable to contact the owner / it was very frustrating. I started looking for a nearby carpark as needed to get to a hospital appointment. By some miracle a young guy walked up to the gate and started undoing the padlock - he has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PARKING - he just rents a unit/room there and happened to arrive at that precise moment. I explained my situation and he kindly let me in, however it was pure luck he happened to be there. Had I arrived 10mins earlier or later - I would have missed him. He said he would normally padlock the gate behind him, but for my sake left it unlocked. This was very frustrating and I think next time I will avoid using JustPark and stick to official car parks (that area of London area was gridlocked - for me to find another carpark would have taken ages / I would have missed my appointment). Very irresponsible of the space owner; it added a lot of stress to an already stressful and upsetting day.

paid for parking from 11am-7pm. Returned to car at 7:09pm and received a £100 parking ticket in the post a week later
