Getting to central London from other parts of the country is a challenge. There are frequent problems with rail, so I have abandoned it and drive instead. Parking once I get there is a problem as well, though, and the solution is typically expensive. I have recently used JustPark, and will do so in future - the booking and arrival procedure is efficient and fuss-free. An Underground station was a five-minute walk away, and I was in Holborn ten minutes later. This is THE solution.
