10 Lower Thames Street Car Park

Gem of a spot.

Good space to park. Not a bad price for Central London, but I think the NCP just down the road would have been a bit cheaper. It is very convenient for Sky Garden/Tower of London. I managed to find the space OK, but be aware that if approaching from the West then you can't turn right into the car park and so have to go further down and U-turn. If you are approaching from South of the river it is better to use Tower Bridge to cross (which is why Google Maps recommends this way). Getting in was easy enough but there is no dedicated pedestrian path - you have to walk up and down the fairly steep ramp. The main thing to be aware of is that there are only two spaces and the one I was parked in was next to a metal barrier that made opening the driver door difficult. The spaces are fairly narrow (was OK with a family sized hatchback) but I think bigger cars may struggle and as there are only two spaces you really have to be able to park the car within the two spaces otherwise another driver will not be able to park here. I did feel secure leaving my car here. I am not sure if I would use this car park again or whether I would use the nearby NCP instead if I am visiting this area again.

5* after reading the reviews I was a little concerned as space and entry/exit, but had zero issues and would definitely use again. The location is exactly as described. Buzz the intercom and a super friendly guard showed me where to go and even stood by to make sure I was happy parking. I have a Honda jazz and fit with zero issues. To be honest, I would consider it a normal size space- but I do drive a LOT for work and use just park frequently so am happy parking and reversing etc. I had to collect vehicle at 1am and security let me in immediately and without problem. Great location. Thank you.

Not well sign posted, 2 bays allocated extremely tight in bay 2 with a pillar and home office vans making it very tight to park and get out if another large car is in bay 1. Smaller cars would be fine like a Fiat 500

A bit tight for a minivan but good value for money.
