I'm not convinced anybody should be paying for this 'space'. It's a block of council flats. On arrival, a man came to the window to tell me I couldn't park there. I said yes I can, I've paid for it on an app. He said this is council property. I said you need to take up your argument with the person who is selling the space and not me. He was very annoying so in the end I had to tell him to get lost and wind my window up.
The space itself isnt an allocated bay, nor is it even within the actual bay lines of the flats themselves. It's a random space by a wall. All the signs say parking for residents only and yet there are no permits or assigned bays. This tells me that you could park there for free anyway, so why bother paying this random person? He is just being a chancer. Fair play to him for making an easy buck, but I would never use that space again. I advise everyone to just park there for free if you need a space in this area.

Had neighbours very angry with me using the space and told me I couldn’t leave my car there. That the spaces are council owned and the person receiving money for the space is not even a resident at the council house that the space is for, apparently they live in Malta? This is only what I was told but it definitely made me feel very uncomfortable and unable to use the space that i had paid for
