Parking on Duke Street, LE1

This space was totally inadequate for any car other than a very small car such as Smart or Fiat 500. Even then the access is constrained by the space for no. 11. The access gate to the site is extremely narrow and the passage is constrained by brick walls and cars parked. This space should be clearly marked as inadequate for cars other than a motorbike or a very small car.

Easy to find and use. Car was safe from the elements and potential thieves. Good vfm

Very easy to get in and out!

Don't park here. What nightmare. V narrow to get in, as stated, however really struggled to get in the gap to park due to another parked car and did about a 50 point turn to get my car reversed into the space. Couldn't have done it without someone else being there. Nightmare!

The outside gate or half of it was not working.

I'll be honest here....you need to reverse into the space to ensure you can get out easily if someone parks in the adjacent space (which isn't parallel to this space). I was driving an estate car and you need to be confident in your ability because it isn't straightforward. IMHO less-confident drivers will not enjoy doing this. Other that, it's a great location for the city centre.

very easy to find and very secure parking space

It was a bit tricky to find, Google Maps took me the wrong side of the one way road but I worked it out. Unfortunately the entry code didn't work but I got through to the owner and he gave me the correct code. Warning - the entrance is very tight and the road is narrow with bollards so it's hard to line up straight and the automatic gate will close if you're not quick enough. I had a large car, I'd recommend small cars. The car park is undercover and is secure
