The instructions were great altho the red door isnt at 1 Young St Edinburgh anymore.
The service was such a noon to our stay that Red Door or metal you get full marks!

On return to collect car went to reception and door locked. No bell, called telephone number and got London property. Asked for pin to get in was told they didn't know. Asked to transfer to Edinburgh and was told they couldn't. Asked what I should do and was told they didn't know.
Banged on door, waited, Banged again nothing.
After about 30 mins I had no option but to walk round to rear of car park where I entered with car and had to use car lift.
As a single female late at night didn't feel safe walking around in dark and unsure where to go or if I would even get car.

The ability to obtain parking in Edinburgh at short notice was appreciated. However, had we been driving a bigger SUV or Mercedes we would not have been able to park the car.
May I suggest a notice or warning regarding the very confined alley and an elevator entrance!

This parking space was underground via a single car lift which did not work on exit. Stuck for hours in the basement. Nightmare situation. Other people in the area say it’s a common theme.

Great location, close to castle, bars and restaurants. Great quiet and secure car park, the only challenge we had was getting into and out of the lift. We have a Volvo XC 60 and was just fitting into the lift, so any bigger you won't be able to fit. Anything smaller you are fine! The challenge is getting the angle to turn into the lift from both the street and the car park for the street being quite narrow and wheely bins and barrels on the street obstructing, we've manage in a few goes with millimeters to spare. Also the pedestrian code we got given to access the car park didn't work.

The door to the garage was blocked by bins, and the lift is a very tight squeeze for a normal car- this should be made clear
