Radisson Blu Edinburgh Car Park

can't get out.

parked at Blakfriars car park Edinburgh. pre-arrival instructions didn't include what to expect at barrier,. I downloaded the Just Park app and even when I as sat out side it said I wasn't close enough to get entry code information. Turns out there is a camera with numberplate recognition and it just opened. There were only spaces marked " Hotel reserved " and " electric charging point only". There is no help point but there is a help button at the top of the entry and exit barrier machines ( push the cover to the side) which staff do answer and are very helpful. I had to exit and go back in- it was OK to park in a space marked 'Radisson Blu reserved'. I was worried about getting charged twice as I had entered twice. To get out I pressed help and they could check my reservation when given my numberplate and let me out. The carpark has quite tight turns and its a tight squeeze for 2 cars to pass

Booking was simple, directions were straightforward, entry into the car park a bit tight but manageable. Exiting the car park was not easy. Drove to the barrier and it didn't open despite pre paying. Luckily no one was behind us or we would have been totally stuck. We managed to reverse back up the ramp and pull over so I could press the call button on the machine, got a response eventually from reception who opened the barrier. Not sure what went wrong at which point but it could have caused a huge issue if we had cars behind us. This is a great location and we were chuffed to find a space so near to where we needed to be but it should have been easy to leave.

Barrier opened automatically when arriving but when leaving didn't work tried the ap open barrier yes locations were on and it failed. Cars lining up behind me final reception opened barrier

Nice big parking in city centre

Entry to carpark worked perfectly, exit didn’t work and I had to pay an additional £22 on top of the £18 I had already paid to exit the carpark. No opportunity to speak to anyone, helpline fully automated

Easy to find and great location, right in the centre of Edinburgh. Price was also good. Unfortunately the app did not work to get out of the car park. Numerous people have said the same thing on these reviews so I'm unsure as to why this issue hasn't been sorted yet?? 2 cars infront of us had the same issue and we had to reverse and go to the side to let others through. In the end we rang reception to let us out. Apart from that we would use it again, but it's quite frustrating that the issue hasn't been sorted yet.

Nightmare to get too with roadworks and protests on the royal mile. Space was fine but couldn’t get out and had to pay again. Won’t use it again.

The barrier doesn't open on exit! The button in the app doesn't work and no one answers when you ring for help.
