Four roomy spaces secured off the road behind electric gates in the front garden of a large house with CCTV and security lighting. Unlike some places in the village this offers a short, easy walk (read our reviews) to the heart of Castle Donington where you can pick up the all night bus to the airport - a straightforward 10 minute ride. You will be parked on hard standing well away from what is a quiet road. The spaces are all suitable for larger cars.
With straightforward access from the road network the property is a situated in what we have found to be a quiet, safe residential area. Owners normally at home during the day. East Midlands Airport is around ten minutes away by bus/car and Donington Park (Download, motorsports etc.) around five minutes away by bus/car. The bus stop to East Midlands Airport is around a ten minute walk away where you can pick up a 24/7 bus service to Donington Park and the airport at very reasonable cost. Uber increasingly operates in the area. Buses from Castle Donington to the airport run frequently during the day but less frequently at night. Check out the Skylink website for times. At a pinch Donington Park is perhaps a half hour's walk away though please note that the airport is not walkable from anywhere in Castle Donington (and certainly not with luggage!). All vehicles and contents left at owner's risk. Strictly no sleeping in vehicles overnight and no caravans. If you want to park a larger vehicle like a motorhome that is possible but please contact me after making a booking so that I know you have a large vehicle. Motorbikes welcome.
