Marriott Cardiff Car Park

The car park was difficult to find as the postcode takes you to the wrong end of a one way system. What three words would be better! Good location near town centre.

Absolutely diabolical directions.. the car park was on a more than 150°angle back on yourself down a 1 way street. The gates were locked. There was nowhere to leave the car while you enquired in the hotel. In the end I gave up and parked in the "john lewis" car park up the road. At an extra cost of £32.70. Diabolical will never use again !!!

All went to plan and v smoothly.

The post code directions took us to a different car park.

I incurred a bus lane fine whilst trying to follow the road signs for The Marriott. Having made it to the rear entrance (via bus lane) the person I spoke to on the intercom was very helpful and guided me to the correct entrance. The hotel staff were friendly and the space was perfectly adequate. It's a shame it's difficult to navigate Cardiff's roads as a non Cardiff resident and I personally won't park in this area of Cardiff again.

Good secure parking for central Cardiff at an excellent price. Be careful on entry to Mill Lane however, as if you go in the wrong way you will get a letter from the council with a fine. Entry into Mill Lane is by Right Turn only, travelling North on St. Mary Street. If you are travelling South on St. Mary Street, you have to past Mill Lane, around the roundabout and come back on yourself to turn right.

Not an easy space to find, and I ended up with a parking ticket.

All went smoothly, bead to go thru bus lane, hope that ends up being ok
