Field on Montpelier Road, BN1

We arrived at the parking as arranged on 03/07/2015 and called the owner. He advised he had gone away, made no arrangements for us and notified Just Park the day before. Strangely the email advising of this arrived after we had spoken - so had not been sent on 02/07/2015, I have no idea if the parking space was fit for purpose as the security it offered did work! I cannot on any level recommend parking with Michael S as he is unreliable and caused us massive inconvenience. Parking in Brighton is not easy! Avoid!

I would not use this space if you have to be somewhere at a certain time. I rented the space for the day to park nearby my brother's wedding venue in Brighton. I was concerned being a gated development could be an issue in case I could not get hold of Michael, but felt reassured when reading other reviews having no problems getting hold of him. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. After booking, I advised Michael that it was my brother's wedding and it was imperative I could access the parking space. I was reassured that someone would be available. I gave Michael a time I would arrive and was given directions and instructions to contact his house mate who would be in to meet me. Unfortunately when we arrived at the time stated and buzzed as directed, no-one answered the buzzer. Obviously I kept trying. I tried to telephone Michael on numerous occasions but his phone went straight through to voicemail on every occasion and I left a voicemail message advising the situation. Luckily for us, a neighbour took pity on us and very kindly let us park in their space for the day to avoid us being late for my brother's wedding and we made it just in time. Michael texted me shortly afterwards asking if everything was okay, which obviously it was not as he would have been aware from my missed calls and voicemail message. No attempt was made to telephone me. Subsequently, I have emailed Michael to advise him of my experience and he advised that he checked that his housemate was in and I must have pushed the wrong buzzers. Furthermore, he advised he tried to telephone me 3 times. He has agreed to refund me and this is awaited. However, I did press the right buzzers and I am afraid that he was unavailable and I had no missed calls. It would be totally unfair to say do not use this space, Michael has some great reviews from other people who have not had a problem, but being a gated development and relying on someone to let you in (plus you need to be shown where the space is as there is no way of knowing), I would not recommend to those people who have time constraints.

Did not say secured parking which was great but as o didn't read instructions properly it was hard to find. I should have ring before arriving. Nice person, great location, would recommend

Satnav didn't take me to correct address but once I spoke to Michael I found the parking space.

Easy to find, very secure area, good communication, hassle free parking. Would definitely use again

Brilliant parking spot ... all very easy and good location. Will use again.

This is a very good parking solution for us as our son lives in Sillwood Street but arriving late due to traffic caused some difficulties in accessing the space. Next time we need to agree how to communicate about access timings which for us need to be fluid to a degree because of the distance we are travelling. (Our trips to Brighton have varied from 2.5 hours to 7 hours due to the M25)

Really easy to find and great communication.

An excellent car parking spot and so secure. Very close to the centre of Brightin and extremely well priced. Excellent communication with Michael. Will definitely use again - totally perfect.

Great parking space. Very secure, in a gated area. Mike was great to deal with. Was directly opposite the hotel we stayed in the Moreland, which is also recommend.
