Storehire UK Car Park

I had a very disappointing experience with Storehire UK parking near Stansted Airport. It was advertised as being around a half-hour walk from the airport, but when I arrived, it turned out to be a 1.5-hour walk, which is not walkable at all. Despite looking close on the map, this place is in the middle of nowhere, and on a Friday afternoon, no cabs were accepting my booking. I was lucky enough to get a lift from a nearby business to mid-stay parking, then caught a bus to the airport. I barely made my flight, only thanks to booking fast track service last minute. If you're looking for a hassle-free experience, I wouldn't recommend this parking option. The advertisement is misleading, and the stress isn't worth the small savings.

A little bit tight on the space but overall secure car park which was easily located.

Easy to book, great price with cancellation, clear and efficient communication .. my car was safe and secure. Would definitely use again and recommend.

The parking space itself was alright (beside containers), but the location was very tricky in the dark being the first time. There are CCTVs dotted around. Assuming they are working, then the location is safe. There is also a bus service 508 going to the airport, but the first bus is not until 06:48 and the bus stops by request only otherwise the bus will not stop. In summary, it is a good value for money if you are going to drop off and pick up during the daytime. Please check the bus timetable. Otherwise, you might want to consider the cost of taxi to or from the airport at around £30 as of June 2024 at night/early morning. Finally, you will get detailed information about the location and PIN code access closer to your arrival. This is my fair and honest assessment, and I hope it helps someone to make an informed decision.

The only trick was to get out from the venue, we needed to open the gate by typing in the pin through the bars. When we were collecting the vehicle the gate was constantly open though

Good parking, but not worth it. There was no bus station around and had to take taxi to the airport for 27£/one way which is same price if I parked straight on the airport.

The taxi to airport is expensive only if you want to pay for the drop off. Choose to be dropped at midway car park and take the shuttle and this is the best parking for the price

Advertised as 1.5 miles away from airport. It was 4.6 miles!!!! Cost me more to get to the airport via taxi one way than the parking did!!

Pin didn't open the door. Bus stop was far due to my mobility issues. Customer service help desk wasn't that great. No one at the office.
