We are 1.25 miles from Stansted Airport terminal. It's 3.5 mins by car. You can walk in 20-30 mins, but there is no pedestrian access at the airport itself, so you will be on grass verges and crossing roads and low barriers. There are about 4 local buses per hour to the airport. The cost is £1.70-£2.00 single. Taxis are substantially more - £10-12 I believe. Your car is in full view of our house. We have night time security lights, but have never had any problems in 20 years of being here.
We have a large 50x50ft square gravel drive, but we would ask cars to park in the spaces shown in the photos to be courteous and leave the drive free for others and for our personal use and access. Space 1 is to the right of hand side of the drive close to the house. Spaces 1 and 2 are in front of the double garage. Please leave enough room so we can open the left hand garage door.
We are the terracotta coloured chalet bungalow. Please be sure to park on our drive and not my neighbours. You want 'FIRS HOUSE.' The name of our property is on the front of our house.

Don’t book this space. Owner’s phone was never on, didn’t reply to my missed calls or voice notes the night before or in the day. Had the audacity to text me back the day after we got back. I logged a complaint.
The directions are not clear.
When you use the exact location the website / app gives none of my phone apps found the spot. I used Waze, Google Maps and Apple Maps.
Should have known this was a red flag because the owner has disclaimers about leaving yourself plenty of time to find it (which I did). Luckily found a space on the street and didn’t miss my flight.

Really easy to find, great hidden parking away from the street view. Just a few steps to the bus stop nearby with a large range of buses going to the airport every 10-15 minutes. Thank you very much! Will definitely book again in the future when needed.

I was late to collect my car. In the same time I wasn't sure if I will pay a penalty charge as I was late but then this lovely owner lady and her son was so generous and told me not to worry about it. Highly recommend place to use for the parking. Very close to the bus stop literally opposite the property.

If getting the bus back from Stanstead use 508 from bay 16 and get off at the bus shelter as you enter takeley .
