Parking on Eglantine Place, BT9

There was a pole in the way of the parking space made it hard to park but after a few attempts was able to get it in

The location is great, but the space is very tight, made harder by the concrete pillar. I had trouble getting a small compact car parked and manoeuvred. The space is in the dedicated parking of an apartment building, generally safe and clearly busy. Your car is safe here. There was however shards of glass and screws in various places on the floor, so not ideal for tyres.

Unfortunately I couldn't park in number 11 ,the space was big enough ( Mercedes vito van) but there is a pillar in front of the space ,which made it difficult to manoeuvre in around it and another car parked beside in number 10. I'm sure a much smaller car could get in .I called Julia and explained and she very kindly let me park across the way.

Unfortunately I was unable to find the parking place with the map provided I circled the block it was supposed to be in a dozen times looking for it. There was a small alley that was a possible option but it was partially blocked by a large vehicle and my car wouldnt have passed it. I did not have the time before my appointment to investigate it on foot and eventually drove some distance away to a retail park and called a taxi. I was a half hour late for my appointment and out of pocket £15 in taxi fares. Not a good experience.

A car parked in the next parking space was parked over the car park space I had booked and this caused me great difficulty parking my car. My car is small. A mid sized or bigger car would not have fit in the space, which is tricky to navigate due to a pillar.
