JustPark Waives Park & Pay Transaction Fees in Bucks from August

From 1st August, to mark the roll-out of the National Parking Platform across the county, the app has cancelled its transaction fees for local spaces.

1st August 2025, Buckinghamshire, UK – As Buckinghamshire Council completes the rollout of the National Parking Platform (NPP) this month, drivers across the region finally have the freedom to choose their preferred parking app. To mark the launch, designed to give drivers more choice and flexibility,  JustPark is scrapping its transaction fees for local, cashless payments from 1st August for a period of three months.

In addition, JustPark also now offers more parking spaces than any other app in the County. That’s because in addition to the 133  sites now available via the NPP,  JustPark also exclusively lists hundreds of pre-bookable private and commercial spaces across the county, ideal for regular commutes or important journeys where planning ahead makes all the difference.

For the first time, Buckinghamshire motorists will be able to use the JustPark app to pay in every council-run car park and on-street pay-and-display bay as well as access tens of thousands of private driveways, garages, and commercial spaces across the county. In a continued bonus for local drivers, JustPark has also reduced the price of its optional SMS reminder service for Buckinghamshire spaces.

Jonathan Hampson, Chief Commercial Officer at JustPark, said:  “This is a major milestone. For the first time in Buckinghamshire, drivers can use JustPark for every parking need. We’re proud to support the National Parking Platform and it is great to see its roll-out here in Buckinghamshire, giving drivers more choice, better value, and a far easier way to park.”

The NPP rollout follows a successful trial last summer in High Wycombe, Marlow, Princes Risborough, and Bourne End. Buckinghamshire Council expects the service to be live across all council-run sites by the end of July.

The JustPark app is available to download from both the App Store and Google Play. For more information, visitwww.justpark.com.
