Multiple entry and exit allowed

The parking space is large enough to accommodate an large SUV. However, the alley dates back to the mid 1800s, and thus navigation in the alley is tight. Be careful when making turns in the alley. There are very low cement poles that could wreak havoc. For larger cars, you may find it easier to enter the alley from the Newport Place east entrance and approach the house from the East (i.e. driving West).

"In and Out" access is fine.

Great location when visiting Dupont Circle. The owner of the spot was very forthcoming about the driving obstacles to get in and out of the spot. But just to reiterate what the owner stated, the obstacles involved to get in or out of this spot requires someone with a lot of driving experience to navigate. A lack of experience could cause havoc on one's car, especially a large car. It does seem best to enter the spot from Newport, and also to back in. I drive a large car (a Genesis). The car fit in the spot with lots of room to spare, but getting to the spot was somewhat difficult. Backing in to the space makes the most sense. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.
