Parking space on Off Marygate, YO30

I have used this space a few times, it is an excellent location. However, major construction is taking place in the yard where it is situated. You have to drive through a narrow passage of builders metal barriers, then the space is very difficult to get in and out. The barriers did not fully shield the trench by the parking space and a wheel could go down. I am a former Driving Instructor but still found it difficult in a Mini Countryman, which is just a medium sized car. Anything larger would be almost impossible. I booked the space until 8.00pm but moved the car at 5.00pm as it would be too dangerous in the dark. I do not think this space should be used until building work is completed.

The cone mentioned in the booking was not there on arrival and unable to contact the number supplied, just went to answer phone, left a message but no response.

The space was difficult to access in a large car as it is in the middle of a building site with restricted access

Very good and easy to find.

No issues finding it, and no issues with safety of vehicle. Only leaving 4 star as the area had construction going on which hindered exit on one day.

Handy parking for inner- ring road access and proximity to city centre. Will use again Parking bay not visible on entry as vegetation obscures the sign relating to the property in question - removal would be helpful! Thank you Dr M J Stopper

Great location for popping into town. I struggled to find the spot until I got out of the car and had a look around. It’s on the right hand side of the car park at the back. I think it’s because there’s building work going on which didn’t make it easily visible.
