I was NOT ABLE to use the space because it was impossible for the car to enter.
Cars parked on the road either side of the space meant that my car would have to be perpendicular to the space to enter it.
Due to cars also parked on the opposite side of the road, it was impossible to manoeuvre my car to be perpendicular.
