Only 40 mins from Heathrow airport (depending on the time of day and traffic).
According to Google Maps (walking option) Madejski Stadium(Now known as Select Car Leasing Stadium) is approx 2 miles away on foot and is about a 30 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk) with safe walk over bridges across the M4 junction. If going to the stadium, there is Reading Gate Retail Park right outside which has a McDonalds, KFC, Itsu, PC World, B&Q, TK Maxx, Smyths Toy Store, Oak Furniture Land, Tapi, Costa Coffee and Costco next to the stadium, just remember, that on match days this area is VERY busy.
Mereoak Park & Ride is about 20 mins walk (again, depending how fast you walk). Various buses go into Reading town centre and National Express (403) stop to and from London and continues onto Bath, Bristol and Weston Super Mare...to name just a few(but please check this yourself).
Nearest public house (10 mins walk) is The Swan (opposite the BP/Budgens Garage, however now permanently closed), other pubs nearby are The Farriers and The Six Bells (this pub serves excellent Indian food).
WALKING DIRECTIONS TO CAR SELECT LEASING STADIUM:
After parking you car on my drive, turn right out of my drive, walk to the end of Grazeley Road, turn left, walk past the BP/Budgens Garage on your left, the Swan Pub is opposite on your right. Cross the road so that you are on the side of the Swan Pub (there is a pedestrian crossing further down the road). Keep walking until you get to the main set of traffic lights at the junction, turn right and walk up the road heading towards the metal bridge/walkway over the M4 Junction 11 roundabout. Keep walking more or less straight, you will also walk over a bridge that goes directly over the motorway. The Verizon Office building will be on your left, this is The Reading International Business Centre (Now called Campus Reading International) walk past this, keep on the same road, you will come to a roundabout with the entrance to the Tesco Distribution Centre on your left, keep walking until the next roundabout and Select Car Leasing Stadium will be on your left.....enjoy the match or your onward journey.

The space was secure with CCTV, spacious and in a safe neighbourhood. It was easy to find and the owner communicates very well instructions of how to find the space and the set up. Would definitely recommend and would use again if the need arises.

Very good service and straightforward process of booking.
Instructions are very clear and easily located (owners also friendly and tolerable after my innocent/silly mistake). Appeared to be a very safe area and is equipped with CCTV which provides even more assurance to leave your car parked without worries (as anywhere, your car is at your own risk). Very easy to access the park and ride (20 min walk) or take a taxi for about £15 to town centre. Would absolutely recommend and surely would book again.

Super handy for the M4. Parked here and shared a lift to Heathrow with a friend to reduce airport parking costs. Excellent large, secure space and helpful owners.

Superb location to park for two days! easy to navigate to arrive, seems like a lovely neighbourhood so i had no reservations about the safety of my car. Will park here again if i travel to london in the near future
