Car Park on Gorton Street, M3

Once we found the car park the attendant didn't seem to know what a pre booked space was. His communication was minimal and there were no spaces left for us to park. Others also had the same issue. It seems pre booking spaces at this car park doesn't work.

Car park attendant looked uninterested and clueless trying to get me to park in a space barely half a car wide. Managed to finally park in a reserved space not knowing if my car would be clamped when I returned in the morning. They are clearly trying to cram as many cars as possible into a small parking area. Having said all that my car was fine when I picked it up the next day. I wouldn't use it again

Mixed experience so let me explain - nothing too negative tbh but just lacking any sense of attention. Plus side is the very good central location (but there are other similar car parks in the area). You arrive to a large stoned area next to railway arches surrounded by a perimeter fence. When I arrived, the outside area was rammed and I waited about 10 mins while the chap was trying to get customers to park in tight spaces. My turn and he insisted I park in a space which wouldn't allow me to open any door to get out. I pointed out that overnight parking was supposed to be under cover but he struggled to understand the concept of a reservation from one midday to the next midday. Eventually he found me a space under cover where the spaces allowed me to get out of the car. I returned 24hrs later to pick up my car and a different chap in the office didn't even look up and just waved me away, so I got into my car and left. I suppose I could have wandered in and taken any of the more expensive cars as I don't think he ever looked up from his phone. So nothing bad - just don't have high expectations and you'll be fine.

Cars left overnight go inside and there are helpful staff on the gate during the day
