Last week I used JustPark to book for the car park at the Barbican. On both occasions, the automatic exit barrier stayed down and the reader told me I was unauthorised and owed payment. As the sole driver, in order to authenticate my booking, I needed to 1.stop the engine and get out to find my bag with my phone and reading glasses (this also held up vehicles behind me); 2. Read my booking reference several times to a dozy member of staff in the parking lot before my booking was verified and I was let out.

I had pre booked and paid for my stay for one night. On exiting I was not able to get out until I made contact with the park attendant. Looks like the system was not updated. So had to provide my confirmation number before exiting.

Tried to charge us £13 when a had already paid £11 to park for 2pm till 11.30 pm. And it wouldn’t let us out made us very late poor service never use again
