Q-Park Oxford Street

Despite having paid in advance it still told me I had £40 to pay when I got to the barrier. I had to buzz to get it sorted

My car was broken into, the back window was smashed and the contents of my boot was stolen.

Dont park here. My car got broken into. Possessions taken. No security. Awful help.

First there was grid lock around the car park at Cavendish Square due to building works on the island above and diversions, etc. There was no warning of this. It took about 20 minutes to get into the car park once I’d arrived there because of this. Next, once parked on level -2 there were no signs to indicate a pedestrian route up and out to ground level. I’d paid £24 for 3 hours but only used about an hour, but when I exited, the machine charged me another £10 to get out! I was supposed to be able to scan a bar code but there was no scanner I could see at the exit. Overall, an over-complicated rip-off, poor service, poor functionality and a huge waste of my time.

The barcode did not work, rang the help from the machine and they didn’t recognise the ref number, was totally different to what they quoted. Was not sure I was getting out. They finally agreed to let me out when the actually looked in my phone in person at the exit barrier. Being already stressed from my wife in surgery this was not a great experience for me

24hr parking at Q-Park Oxford Street was very easy to book and the instructions in the follow-up email were clear. Accessed the carpark no problem and easily found a space. The carpark was ideally located for my needs and, on my return, I was assisted in my exit by an extremely courteous and helpful member of staff who was manning the lift. Thank you, Michael, for topping off a smooth and pleasant Central London parking experience!
