Parking on Martindale Road, SW12

It's ideal for smaller width cars. Mine is a Vauxhall Astra 5 door and I parked in slightly diagonally to give the driver exit more space to get out of the car

I found the space easily and had a nice message from the space owner before and after my parking. However, the space was extremely tight to get into owing to the metal gates either side. I then struggled to get out of and around my 3 door car which has wide doors. My car exactly fitted the space and I felt awful leaving it as I have no idea how the space owner would have gotten in and out of their house. I knocked the door to check if how I'd left it was ok but they were not home. I felt nervous leaving the car in case the space owner called asking me to move it re access to their house or the car getting unintentionally scratched as they tried to get by it. My car was safe and secure but I would not use this space again. It is better suited to a small car - KA, corsa, smart car.
