Car Park on Mare Street, E8

Bit tricky to locate and doesn't have the combination lock. But was great and hidden away and very affordable. Thanks to the previous reviews I was able to find the parking space.

The padlock had been changed so that we could no longer open it with the combination number. We had to find the hostel which held the key- not easy with no clear sign or map or instructions. It was a good thing we were half hour early or we would have been extremely late. Very stressful! The only good thing was that once we had parked and returned the key, our car was hidden and secure.

Good car park access bit tight bit well lite not far from Hackney Empire so good location..

Very difficult to find. Bad directions. Parking actually belongs to st mungoes hostel but no mention that it's a hostel. No locals knew what I was talking about until I found a guy who was staying there. Booking gives you a 4 digit code to use in a combination lock. There isn't one! It's a key operated lock. You get the key from hostel. I spent 30 minutes looking for the parking spot and 30 minutes parked in front of gates I couldn't open. People in the hostel were lovely and it's a bit of income for it but it wasn't the easiest experience. Turned out they don't actually lock the car park as I found out when I left, and phoned for someone to let me out....

Found thanks to the instructions in the reviews. Padlock is still a key operated one but a quick walk around the corner and was allowed in and they opened the gate for me. Would use again

I used the parking space on the 20th October & 14th December 2019. I had no problem accessing the three spaces booked on arrival/departure. Many thanks to the staff Abdo & Jenisha always willing to .help out.. Ms Runtings

Handy little space, perfect location for us. Would have been a little hard to find if I hadn't have read the other reviews first. You need to head to the NHS signed carpark, and then through the metal gates. Instructions do need to be updated as no combination lock anymore, but the padlock was open so no issues there! Cheap and convenient parking.

The entry instructions should be updated. Combination lock no longer in place. Key to lock had to be collected from the hostel reception.

Arrived a bit late back to my car, and the gate was locked so had to pick it back up on Monday. The description said it was a combination lock but it actually just a key lock with no way of opening it.
