Parking on Lordship Lane, SE22

Booked space for 10am, turned up 5 minutes before and there was a car already in it. Tried to call the owner, no answer to calls or text. I then get an email at 10 saying "your booking is cancelled". Total waste of time. Avoid this guy.

Did not stay. Could not fit a normal size car.

Tight space but did the job

When I arrived the space was occupied. I had to pull across the pavement and bus lane with hazards on. Telephoned the owner, who didn't answer, left a voicemail. Knocked on the lower door. (No number shown). Eventually a window opened and a young lady spoke to me, then finally the owner spoke to me thru the window. He didn't wish to move his car and said that he hasn't received the booking. I showed him my booking and that I'd already paid for parking. He asked to cancel and suggested I park for free nearby on Wood Vale. By this point I was quite late for my date so I agreed to cancel and found a free space. I was happy to receive the refund but unhappy with the lack of professionalism or curtesy. I've used this peer to peer platform for many years all over the UK. Being unprofessional weakens the entire system. I'd advise anyone considering this space to first try free street parking on Wood Vale. If you find nothing, and if the driveway is visibly empty then book the space. But booking it in advance is no guarantee.
