Parking on Arch View Crescent, L1

The website was easy to use to book the parking but on arrival it turned out to be a housing association private car park for residents ONLY and I was denied access through the gate by the person on the buzzer - turned out to be the police from the nearby cathedral, so found alternate parking at an extra cost

The parking worked out well, access was easy and the location was fine. Sadly the nominated space was not available but there was one close by and I let the owner know and all was well.

Easy to find and very secure.

I was not allowed in the paring by the guard stating that it is a private car cark and owners are not allowed to advertise in the websites to let out for parking. I ended up running late and nearly missing my appointment and paying more than required for the parking.

Parking space did not exist. Had to find alternative. Have I been scammed?

GOT SCAMMED. DO NOT RENT THIS SPACE. Arrived at the location, pressed the intercom to let us in, only to be told that it was a private park and owners of the spaces were not permitted to rent them out. Had to pay for parking elsewhere. Currently trying to get refunded

I couldn't access space I had booked as the barrier would not raise open. I phoned the contact number I had been given but after a message saying please wait for an operator to answer the line beeped & went silent. I attempted phoning half a dozen times but same thing. I ended up driving into the cathedral car park which is close by. As a footnote, there was another driver behind me as I was trying to access my booked space & he said he had booked that same space too. He drove elsewhere too.
