Albert Quay Car Park

Parking for motorcycles at the meter & online is terribly confusing. Instructions on what constitutes a vehicle and what a paid for space can hold should be made very clear - Can more than one motorcycle park in one space? If so, does each vehicle have to pay the same price as a car individually or is the fee paid by one of the motorcycles? Also, if a motorcycle is parked in a paid bay, car drivers should be instructed not to park their vehicles in part of or overlap the space making it difficult for the motorcycle owner to access their vehicle once they want to leave the car park. In addition, trying to make additional payments for overnight parking online does not always allow you to change the car park easily - For instance, my accommodation was closer to a different car park than the one I was parked in & I inadvertently paid for a space in the incorrect car park as I did not know the Car Park location number - Try doing this in the rain with hands full of luggage having spent 3hrs being soaked on a motorcycle! This was stressful & frustrating

This was entirely unsatisfactory on a number of levels. We were given a parking ticket on the basis we reparked our car within an hour of leaving. This is untrue - we parked for less than two hours and did not leave and return. CCTV will prove this. Clearly this car park is not equipped to leverage app technology. In addition, the spaces are too small.

Small car park, only about 10 spaces. But great location if you're lucky enough.
