Parking on Channings Drive, EX1

The person who let the space sent a text earlier in the week; stating they had cancelled the booking. I missed the text and arrived on the day at 2pm Sunday to be told by the partner it would be okay to park outside their property on the curb. I spoke to the person who stated he had cancelled the booking. He said he would send a copy of the cancellation email. We contacted your help line and were told the booking was still standing and the location offered was valid for the booking. The car had to be parked half on the road; half off to allow the road to remain passible. It has been made an offence to park vehicles in this manner because of the restriction to pedestrians right of way. This meant our vehicle would not be covered by our insurance in case of an accident. But your operator stated the booking was validated. Which it clearly was not. We did not have the time to engage in the dispute as we were trying to catch a plane! I feel a full refund is the correct outcome to this unsatsfacory turn of events.
