No actual designated space, didn't have a problem finding a bay each time I returned and the spaces were wide enough to accommodate my largr vehicle.
As there was no barrier for entry/exit I can't comment on security, equivalent of parking on the road with less hassle of trying to find a space.

Had a roof box on our car so exceeded height restriction which seemed to be on every Edinburgh city centre car park. This space had no such restriction and was still a pretty convenient 20 min walk from where we stayed. Drop your bags off first though!

The exact place was not the easiest to find with all the construction and the height of the hedge rows.
That said the parting space was ample, priced competitively, safe, and close to town.
Will use it again next time we visit.
