Stoney Road Car Park

I have used this space for 3 years and imagine my surprise when I went to book yesterday and the cost had increased from £5.20 to £12 plus booking fee? I understand costs need to increase but a jump of £6.80? That is ridiculous and there are much cheaper (by £6) parking spaces a few minutes walk away. This isn't the greatest spot (frequent fly tipping, no light at all so not great in the winter, especially for lone women) but the price was quite cheap, definitely not worth £12 now though, it's laughable

Booked 1 day in a small private car park and the next day on someone's drive. Helpful photos of locations provided. Both worked fine.

don't approach to fast or your miss it its a side ally way short drive up on your right. Good price for how close to town you are tbf

No sign from main road, so difficult to find. Spaces short, so my standard hatchback was poking out of the space, potentially blocking vehicles from passing. The whole area looked ropey, with stacks of tyres, rubbish all over the place and no obvious lighting. If I were a woman on my own, I’d feel really unsafe.

the space around isn't as well kept as it could be, which means there's a general untidiness around the car parking spaces with litter scattered. this led to me feeling not 100% comfortable with leaving my car there. Having said that, for the price and location, I think it's fairly reasonable.

Found the space fine

Did not use the parking space ,,, this was very unsuitable as it was on a side alley that wasn’t at all suitable to leave my vehicle over nite ,,,, had to find other parking for my vehicle and very nearly missed my train ,,, I would like my payment back please

Very good spot for daytime. Absolutely no light up there at night and itsa very dark alley, so I wouldn't recommend parking there on your own, particularly as a woman. I think the owners should add a motion sensor light.
