A beginner's guide to international rugby

Everything you need to know about getting into Rugby in 2023.

So, you’ve just watched the Six Nations and now you’re eager to watch some more international rugby? Not to fear, the Six Nations is just one of the many exciting rugby tournaments that take place around the world, and we're here to guide you through what's coming up in 2023 and how you can make the most of your rugby experience.

There are several international rugby tournaments that take place throughout the year, with some of the most notable being the Rugby World Cup, the Autumn Internationals and the Women’s Six Nations.

If you’ve not been to see a rugby game before there’s a couple of things you’ll need to tick off before going:

  • It goes without saying that you’ll need a ticket, so we’ve included links to each game below.
  • Travel to the game is something you’ll have to be aware of. Whether you’re using public transport, driving or going on foot, planning ahead will help you avoid the crowds before the game.
  • Not every stadium has great parking options, that’s where we can help with our network of private driveways that can get you closer than most car parks.
  • After that you just have to worry about what you’ll be wearing and what to eat on the day.

Rugby World Cup

The Rugby World Cup is the biggest event in international rugby, taking place every four years. In 2023, the Rugby World Cup will be held in France, across nine venues with the final being played at the Stade de France, near Paris.
