In doing so JustPark, who has 12 million registered drivers, has become the first parking app to offer instant booking options across Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and both Apple iOS Voice and Android Voice Access, with all fully available from this week.
A recent TechInsights survey of nearly 5,000 drivers globally, cited that details of parking space availability has overtaken traffic information as the top requested in-car connected service for drivers. The new in-car products by JustPark are the first time a parking app has addressed this demand with the introduction of voice recognition, in addition to making JustPark available on both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This new multi-channel approach means that JustPark drivers can now stop the painful on-the-go parking spot search, and instead safely secure the best parking space as they arrive at their destination.
Within the app, users will now be shown up to three convenient spaces they can immediately book, drive to and pay for - all in a few, simple taps. Recommendations are powered by JustPark's proprietary recommendations engine using multiple data points to find users the best space within a short distance. While the addition of voice recognition in the app gives drivers an alternative safe way to book from their car or for those not able to use their touch screen. All it takes is a few words, “Hey Siri, find parking on JustPark/ Hey Google, find parking on JustPark” and drivers can find and make their booking.
The new suite of platforms and product announcements for JustPark, the UK’s number one driveway sharing app, offers drivers even greater flexibility and convenience for everyday parking needs and will sit alongside current pre-booking options. JustPark is also the only app that covers private driveways, private business car parks, as well as local public car parks - giving drivers a varied choice of empty spaces at their fingertips, without them needing to drive around to check availability - saving driver’s time, fuel and frustrations.
