This is a tandem parking space, I only have one car right now so the front space is available. The only problem is if you come and go a lot and one of us is parked in back of the other persons car. But I don't mind coming down and moving my car. I can provide a clicker for the gate and a key for backup if the clicker isn't working (rare for that to happen).
