DURING LARGE RUGBY GAMES AND EVENTS
The RFU have announced road closures in this area 1-2 hours before a game starts.
You should arrive BEFORE the roads are closed. Leaving the area afterwards is not an issue in terms of road closures (apart from the number of cars on the roads). This space will get you onto the A316 Westbound within about 3 minutes easily after the game.
Usual info: (not during the World Cup)
This space is within the rugby controlled parking zone (CPZ). This means that the main roads to this parking space are usually closed to traffic for a one or two hour time frame before the advertised start time of the game and also after the game (e.g. Whitton Road and London Road).
If you arrive to take up your parking space during that time, the alternative access is via a 'resident only' red and white barrier off the A316 (in the Westbound Direction), left at Egerton Road.
Tell them you are visiting Craneford Way and they will let you in.

Second time we have parked here and all went as smoothly as the first. People let us through the barrier, house owner opened front door to check we were ok for directions and arrangements. Departure all fine. Space accommodated a large estate car.
