On arrival the entry barrier did not recognise my credit card. I gained access by taking a ticket. On departure again my card was not recognised, but an NCP employee raised the barrier manually to let me out. Apart from this small, easily resolved hiccup, the experience was very positive. I would recommend both JustPark and NCP Southampton Portland Terrace.

The parking was great once I got in there. The machine did not recognise my payment card. So quite a delay before I could get through the barrier and I held up everyone else.

Instructions to use credit card on entering car park, and that car would be recognised as pre-booked. That didn't work, so had to take ticket and pay additional parking fees. No point in pre-booking, as plenty of spaces and I ended-up paying twice.

Very easy, used carpark for a four day stay whilst visiting the Isle of Wight. 10/15 min walk down the road to the ferry. Much cheaper than taking the car over the water that's for sure!
