Car Park on Prestleigh, BA4

This was perfect for Glastonbury. When we arrived on Thursday morning a lady came and met us and gave us a lift down to the drop off point with our bags. She was really friendly and helpful. Traffic was fine getting there and getting out. One note - ignore some of the jobsworth Glastonbury stewards (nothing to do with the pub people who were friendly) who clearly aren't from the local area and are really unhelpful. When we got back to the drop off point, a couple of stewards wouldn't let us walk through the showground because we weren't 'allowed'. They also said there was no way through the north part of the showground even though I was pretty sure there was one. We were told that we had no option but to walk up the busy road (no path for 300 yards or so). The security (the actual paid fellas) told us the best thing to do was to get a shuttle back to the festival, then one to Shepton Mallet, then walk. Completely bonkers. I ended up walking up the road and then coming back to pick up my girlfriend and our bags. When I got back you could clearly see the path up from the showground to the pub and a bloke in the car park confirmed as much. Ignore them all and walk up through the showground back to your car!

Very helpful , friendly & efficient. We were met by someone who showed us where to park. This felt like a safe place to leave our car for the week.

Absolutely brilliant spot for Glastonbury parking. A lift was offered to/from the shuttle bus that takes you to the festival coach station, but it's a 10 min walk if lift not available. Shuttle is a bit of a wait but much less of one than queuing to park on site. The best part is that I drove back to Gatwick on the Monday and completely avoided the traffic. Got back in a little over 3 hours :)

Parked here as we went to Glastonbury Festival. Very easy to find and only a short walk down the road to the festivals 'drop off/collection point' where you can get a free shuttle bus! Really convenient and organised!
