It is down a very narrow turning off a fast road. The space is rented out to multiple vehicles and it is not clear where is 'ok' to park. I was sent a text by the owner saying I had blocked access. to a side road. This didn't appear to be the case when I parked. I'm not sure what he wanted me to do about it from Greece other than to cause me anxiety whilst I was away. I would say to avoid this rental parking space if possible.

Cost of airport parking would have been 130 - extortionate. Most private spaces around Gatwick were offering their space for about 60+ for 11 nights. Add 60 for taxi transfers both ways and there's no way I would consider the risk parking my vehicle in a location I have no experience with, for that long, just to save ten quid. My threshold for value vs risk was about 50% of the cost of airport parking, and this space exactly fit the bill. Taxi transfers were 22 each way, total cost was 66. Had it been any higher I would have just avoided the additional effort in planning this and paid extra for airport parking.
Anyway the owner of the space was communicative and I felt happy leaving my vehicle here. It was reasonably secluded and near a house so I felt safe doing this.

Great value for Gatwick parking. Cost around £30 for taxi each way but still worked out cheaper than airport parking.
