Please note that the parking is on the street and I will provide the necessary resident's parking permit(s) for the day. Lighting facilities mentioned relate to street lighting.
York Road is a very safe road - I have lived here 6 years now, and I have not seen one single car broken into in this street. Given the number of people that look out of their window in the street (curtain twitchers I like to call them!), your car is always safe!
York Road is an ideal location for any of the Reading Festivals in the summer – (5 minutes’ walk to the Reading Festival main entrance) and 7 or 8 minutes’ walk from Reading Mainline Train Station. Also a great way of getting round Xmas parking when you cannot get into the any of the Oracle car parks!! Please refer to the attachments when you book as it shows detailed instructions as to the shortest distance door to door from the Reading Train Station. Note! Please do try to give me at least 2 or 3 days’ notice so I can sent the permits to you or be sure that I am at my house to give you the parking permits there on the spot.
Note: If you are parking more than one day, you'll need to return to your car to put the permits in for the following day. If you plan to be away for more than one day, then this option is probably not for you!
I am always on email throughout the day and most of the evenings, so I am very quick on the response to bookings. It may be possible that we can arrange for you to park at short notice, so do not be afraid to send a booking or an enquiry - will do my best to accommodate!
Finally, this space is only really good for when you are coming back to your car every night, because you need to put the permits on your dashboard. You cannot have more that a day and a half worth of permits at any one time. If you are looking for a stay more than 2 days without returning to the vehicle, this option is not really for you.

Probably the best Just Park experience I've had. The owner responded to questions I had prior to arriving and offered alternative route suggestions if faced with heavy traffic when approaching Reading. On arrival the owner had prepared a map for me to follow in order to find my destination (Reading Festival which was only an eleven minute walk away - perfect location). Thank you, I will definitely be using the Just Park space again!

Great communication from Lindsay, the permits were simple to use, great little map provided too. All in all, if you need casual parking in central Reading you'd be a fool to look elsewhere...

Brilliantly organised by owner (documentation ready for our arrival including a clear map for the route to Reading Railway Station). We were greeted in person and made to feel like royalty! We'll use this venue again for sure.
