Parking space on Whittington Street

I needed a parking space for a week so I could be a foot passenger on a ferry to France. Found the street via sat nav and parked fine, although the street had only a few spaces. It's a narrow road with parking both sides. The area seemed fairly safe but I didn't feel 100% confident that my car would be fine. When I returned a week later everything was fine! The price was good for the time I was away. Many thanks to Jess.

The space was easy to find and down a very quiet alleyway on a private driveway so seemed safe. Excellent value for money considering the distance from the city centre. However, I would not recommend for larger cars as the alley is very narrow- I have a Clio, and was unable to reverse into the space.As the description requested pulling in tight to the left, it was quite awkward manoeuvring.

I had no problems following the directions for the parking space, it was very close to the city and within easy walking distance to the train and bus stations as well. Our car is small so fitted nicely in the space, would not suggest an estate car here, we contacted the owner to say we were there and when we left and she returned all our messages. I would definitely use this space again if it's available.

Ideal for a small hatchback i.e. vw polo as access is fairly tight, however that said I would happily use the site again.
