Parking on Durnford Street, PL1

Great space. Secure and easy to find. 20 minute walk to the ferry.

We drove by ahead of our trip to make sure we knew where the location was. That was well worth it as it is tucked away a little. Not a problem if no time pressures but we had an early morning ferry to catch.

Please make sure padlock numbers face outwards. Difficult to see and manipulate especially in the gloaming!

Easy to access .bear in mind it's a tight turn to get in beware if you have a long vehicle

Remember to get the code for the padlock!

The instructions on how to get to the parking space were great. No problem finding it. The gate was padlocked as described and entry was easy enough. However I wasn't expecting it to be a grassed area with brambles around. I also wouldn't see how with the brambles and overgrown garden you could park two vehicles easily in this space. There was broken glass in the parking area which even in a cheap parking space I wouldn't expect to find. We decided to find parking elsewhere on the day. Overall I wouldn't return or recommend.

would not hesitate to use this parking again. Excellent location for the Brittany ferry. 15 minute walk to the ferry. Tip for getting there turn down Admiralty street off Durnford St past Artillery Arms, Pound St on right just after Pound St is service lane for parking. You can see Rich's back gate on google maps

gated parking, very secure, but very overgrown, couldnt really park 3 cars.

Fast communication with Rich despite being confused by padlock in the middle of the night. Very helpful and understanding. Very secure with large locked gates. Easy walking distance to main park, shopping area and rail station. Many thanks, Andrew.
