Car Park on Wherry Road, NR1

Drove 200 miles to find that our parking space was occupied when we arrived. Tried calling the owner but he was out. Then called the parking company who check for cars parked with no permit and they took the reg of the car in our space and gave us permission to park elsewhere. He called us back 3 hours later and told me he had removed the car that was in our space. We returned about 4 hours later and parked in our space. We met the owner who tried to get me to explain to the parking company how the double booking had occurred and rescind the ticket they had issued to the illegally parked car! There should be no excuse for taking £7.50 and not checking that our space was free. I had booked it 3 months earlier. Overall, I am very unimpressed by this experience.
