Its very secure, only a fob is needed that you press from within your car, the garage door opens, then you take your car in a lift to the basement level where my space is located.
I have listed this space as narrow, most people manage but large wide cars may have an issue. If you have a normal sized car Im confident you will be fine.
The space is no more than a 5 min walk to Piccadilly gardens in Manchester.
