Parking on Downings, E6

Arrived at my time 9.30 am only to find another car parked I. The space. I texted the owner of the space now 6.36 pm my message has not been read I have. Been ignored. I am hoping to get refunded Arrived late for meeting had to cut meeting short as no other parking available Do not use this space I would put 0 stars

Space close to the DLR and available as described. Walk way to the DLR is well lit. Was running late for the agreed start time of using the space and messaged the owner to say was running late. Good comms with the owner and would recommend and use again

Regrettably this booking (my first one) was a complete failure. I arrived at the house only to find that a car was already on the drive way with no space for me to park. I rang the doorbell but there was no answer, I called the mobile number but there was no answer, In the end I was forced to park elsewhere at a higher price. I had a text from Babu C later on (I had not been able to take his call). He apologised for the problem and promised to refund the fee. Then I had a second text saying that he had a problem finding the right way to make the repayment via Justpark and would seek their advice. So far, 5 days after the day booked I have yet to receive my money back. I do not know who is to blame here but I paid for a service that was not delivered. To me that's a big fail.

Ideal place for City Airport. If more than one travelling it is cheaper and quicker to get a taxi than the DLR. Lady at the house very helpful and would certainly use again.

Fair price and I am pleased I booked it. Been away for 2 weeks, my car was in perfect condition when I came back. Private parking in front of his house, with a secure gate. Thank you for a very good service. Ah, the taxi to London City Airport was £8 and it is really easy to find the place.

Very simple process - booked the car and left it in the space . No problems - good value for money and close to Beckton DLR station - would have no hesitation in using again.

Just want to say a big thank you, great place to park so easy to find transport to airport, practically on doorstep. Will definitely use again when needed.

I decided not to use my booked space. Why? The description of the location was accurate, the communication responded to immediately and the vehicle being kept securely behind secure gates accurate. However, as a lone female I found the area the property was in to be intimidating enough to cause me to question my personal safety walking from the tube to my car at night. It might be that I have it wrong but despite being a football player and as such reasonably fit....I had my concerns. I am not someone who frequents London and this may well be a factor.

I have contacted the property owner about this but have not yet received a reply. The space was secure and OK but there was a car parked opposite on the road, making it very hard to turn right into the space as it is a large car. I was therefore not able to access the space and would ideally like a refund.

As described - off street parking with a gate. Quick and helpful communication with the owner via text messages. Gave me the number for a local taxi firm. We flew from London City and got a taxi from the address which took under 10 mins. Would use again - Thanks.
