Possibly labelling the space might help novices like us. The house is on a corner and the parking is round the corner in an adjacent road. It is also one of two spaces adjacent to each other, one of which abuts a garage and belongs to the next door property in the adjacent road. We managed to make contact with both owner's wife and her neighbour who were both in and sort this out.
