Parking on Farnham Road, GU2

Quite a short space so not suitable for a long/large vehicle.

Very central, great price and easy to find and plenty of room for a small/medium car - a bit of a pain to park because to do any manoeuvring you have to keep going back on to the road which can be busy so make sure you pull in correctly first time!!

I used this parking space for a month while I was working close by. It is conveniently located, being a short walk to the town centre and the station. The space itself is a small brick driveway in front of a Victorian terrace house. The driveway is very short in length and I found that my small car only just fitted, if you have anything larger than a ford focus your car will be blocking the path. I recently changed cars and had to find a space elsewhere as my new car would not fit. The kerb outside the driveway is not dropped and is quite high so makes getting in and out more problematic. Getting off the drive in rush hour traffic can take a while because there is usually queuing traffic behind and a constant stream of traffic heading out of town, not for the nervous driver. There are actually two spaces to rent on this driveway so make sure you leave room for another car if you are the first to arrive.

Hi there. I parked where there was space but there was a car already in the drive. At about 1.30 am I received a text asking me to move as I was on the path, which I had not been aware of, but I couldn't move it as I was in London until Friday. I am wondering if someone got there before me and parked in the space. Regards, Clive

Space okay to find but tricky to get into as no dropped kerb. Space quite limited in size so our estate car hung over the edge of the pavement.

No dipped curb so had to mount up on driveway. Needed to be clearer it was 2 spaces. Either way even with my long vauxhall insignia i managed to park and make my train in time.

Easy to find, very close to town, no issues, would use again.

Really close to the station so ideal for a commute at a time when parking is tricky. Make sure you park over to one side to leave the other space free - I didn't realise there were meant to be two spaces!

Good location. Really convenient for the station at a time of day when finding a parking space is difficult. Will use this again.
