A friendly owner and parking place is safe and easy to park. Just make sure you read instructions from the owner before leaving your car. I would like to repeat the same if occasion occurs.

As arranged I parked on Brown Street in Edinburgh on arrival at 16:30pm on Wednesday 18th October and placed a laminated copy of my "Just Park" agreement on the dashboard. When I went to check on the car on Thursday 19th October I found a Penalty Charge Notice from Edinburgh council on the windscreen right next to the Just Park agreement!!
I have now settled the penalty with the city council as it was reduced to half if settled within 14 days and we were in the city centre next to the council offices on the Royal Mile the following day. I was not aware that there were 2 different areas of Brown Street where parking is available. I have taken photos of both the Just Park agreement and the Penalty Charge Notice.
