Parking space on Suffolk Road, GL50

Good space thanks

The parking space was fairly easy to find because I had carefully looked at it on street view. If I hadn't I think I'd still be looking for it now. Unfortunately when I arrived a large lorry was parked right across the entry and the driver seemed to find it amusing that I was blocking the traffic both ways trying to turn right. Needless to say the other drivers didn't find it so funny. Once I was parked it was absolutely fine and a 10 minute walk to millennium Gardens. When I returned I had to do a very careful manoeuvre to get out as a large van was parked right next to me. I have a small car and it is a Toyota Aygo. I would certainly not want to park here in my husband's Mondeo estate! So I would recommend it heartily for someone with a small car who wants to be in that end of Cheltenham. If you at all a nervous driver or parker, maybe look elsewhere! The owner seems lovely though.

Slight blip at start of parking period but lady on end of the phone sorted things really quickly for me. Read directions and don’t rely on satnav. Great spot and nice people.

Convenient for the town centre, felt safe to leave my car there, a bit tricky to find at first as it was dark when I arrived but I found the space when I read the directions properly

Space serves its purpose and instructions and pictures were very useful; as stated, it is a tight turn and space but did what it said on the tin.

Great spot, it is a bit tight but no problem for me , driving a large KIA Sorrento SUV went in and out without issues , will definitely use again.

Quite a tight turn at the end of the lane to get into the parking bay. Very handy for the county cricket though.

Quite tight parking space, but very well located and enabled me to have a very successful visit in Cheltenham. Would recommend.

Good directions by the standards. The spot itself is at the back of an alleyway, so some tight corners and not that easy to reverse out of, but I very much doubt you could find a better spot to park for the Cheltenham Festival.
