We have a private car parking space available, within very easy access to Bristol City football ground (5 min walk). The space is an allocated private car parking space. It is off road and in a private residents parking area that is very well lit.
Come down Swiss Drive and the parking space is around the back of 148! Immediately by the fence on the left once you drive down Swiss Close! The parking space runs parallel to the fence.

Used this space for first time. Despite other comments found the parking spaces behind the house easily but did have to ring the owner to confirm was parked in right place as space not marked. Nice wide spot, 15 mins easy walk to Ashton Gate.

I had not used this before and left home in plenty of time. However, due to road closures and the resulting heavy traffic delays, I was late arriving. I did not know the area and followed my satnav which led me to the wrong place. Had I had the spare time expected, I would have parked it at the correct place. Upon returning to it later, I got lost trying to find it in the dark. The site owner tried to help on telephone and eventually by luck, I found it. You need to know the area or ensure that you have plenty of time to find the correct place. In the dark in an unknown area it is difficult. The satnav in this case was not enough.

handy for the ground
only downside this being Bristol its hard to find and get to so leave yourself bit of extra time
