Driveway in Garnetts, CM22

Nice, quiet residential area. Didn't have any face-to-face contact with homeowner, but I'm renting a parking space, not their social skills, so can't comment on that! But were friendly enough when asking them questions. It's a 25-30min walk to the terminal with a busy roundabout to negotiate, but it's an easy enough walk. The pavement narrows on a couple of occasions en route, but again, nothing to be overly concerned about. Agree about previous comments regarding this walk not being suitable for small children though. Would book again. Also, if you're flying back after dark and walking back, be warned there are no street lights, so might be handy having a small torch in your hand luggage to illuminate the path and to warn other road users of your presence.

No problem, took me 25 mins to walk to terminal. But could have got the 308 bus if it was raining.

House is easy to find. Never spoke to the owner but there was no need. Good walking distance to airport. Would not recommend it for a family with young kids as it is unsafe to walk from the house to the airport unless owner gives you a lift. Good value for money as it saved me £20 per day

Be nice to be made aware that I needed to park on the grass and not the driveway. Driveway should have been made clear.

Could do with a sign indicating where to put car. Parked on grass because not sure if I would be blocking garage. Cheap and easy bus to airport, late night return flight meant walking back to car as anticipated, took about 20 mins along pavement from airport roundabout, village sign post is clear to navigate so no map required. Look out for short cut to main village road through hedge at end of cul-de-sac which takes you straight to bus stops, saves walking all way round Garnett. Walk would be doable with small case on wheels or with a backpack. Otherwise 10 min taxi but no idea on cost for that. My flight times were such that asking for a lift would have been out of the question. If you are traveling light the village is in a good positions (or the taxi option). Closest parking spots are much more expensive. Price with regard to location is about right. Will use village again.

We never communicated so I can't really comment on the householders themselves, but when I returned my car was still there and working so I have no concerns recommending this spot for you too.
