This driveway space is secure as I have lived here for over 10 years without any problems. There is one car space available on the drive, largest car it will fit will be 4x4 or a small van. Additionally this driveway has a high intensity sensor light which is a very helpful visual aid when loading and unloading bags at night. There is also cctv of the drive way.
There is plenty of lighting in this quiet street & we are in during the day and night. It is a dead end road with very few houses so no traffic of cars or people.
It is a short 10 minute walk to the Ferry Port or a 5 minute taxi ride if you have lots of luggage you do not wish to carry. A taxi will cost under £3, I can provide you with a reliable taxi number to call or book. There is plenty of space for you to unload your luggage, bikes etc.
I can also have your car washed and hoovered for a small fee by myself (ask for details)
The bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and buses pass frequently throughout the day and evening if you wish to travel to Fratton train Station, Sea Front or the City Centre. Walking time to the nearest station is approximately 20 minutes.

Continuation - owner did kindly give lift to ferry terminal. But on return owners car blocking my car in and continuous knocking/ringing on door failed to get response. Calls to mobile went to voicemail. After 20+ minutes a helpful neighbour managed to contact owner via Facebook. Said he would be 5-10 minutes. But after this had elapsed he came out again to say owner would another few minutes. 35 minutes from my arrival he arrived and with modest apology and excuse that he didn't think he would be out so long he moved his car to allow me to drive home. I shan't be using just park again. On my experience it is very unreliable and poor value.. I am writing to Brittany Ferries to recommend that they add a caution about reliability to their suggestion on their website.

Perfect location for the ferry port - just a 10 minute walk or 3 minute cycle. very secure and safe. Good communication from owner who was very helpful. Will use again for sure.
