Secure parking space in city centre area

Parking in Edinburgh is crazy, it is expensive and the traffic wardens seem to be on a productivity bonus even in mundane streets away from the city centre so be warned!!. Reading the notices posted on lamp posts it looks as though parking will get even worse in the near future. It was good to find a decent and very cost effective parking spot in a quiet area which for the week was exclusively mine. It was about 15 mins walk from where we were staying but it was well worth the walk to know that my car was parked in a fairly secure environment. The Just Park web site however could do with a little development to make it function correctly and for links to actually work but all was well in the end.

I actually never used the parking space but I'm still glad I had this space paid for as a back up. I was attending a funeral at Warriston Crematorium and I had been forewarned that parking in the area is a nightmare. That crematorium has 100 spaces but those spaces could have gone very quickly. I needed assurance of parking as I had 2 elderly people with me. It was important that I attend this funeral and I was travelling from Carnoustie to attend it. This JustPark initiative is a good scheme as it assured me of getting a reasonable parking space. So I am fine with everything. I am not in a position to comment on safety and accuracy of description.

Easily found, nice area, felt comfortable leaving the car, suffice to say I'd use again. A walk of 15 minutes and you're at the Edinburgh Playhouse, 25 minutes will see you at the start of Princess Street. If the weathers not in your favour then jump on a bus when you hit the main drag (A900). Good VFM, Highly recommended. Thanks Artur.

Perfect location 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre. Very easy to book and the communication and parking arrangements were perfect. Will definitely use again.
